AD Ports Group is a fast growing integrated maritime, airport (in future also rail) and logistic commercial services that operates several infrastructures in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Among the many outstanding facilities of their cluster there is the Khalifa Port, known to have been the first semi-automated Container Port of the Arab Peninsula region. ADP in 2018 purchased eight (8) CVS FERRARI machines, of which seven (7) reach Stackers and one (1) 45 Ton Fork Lift Truck for their regional traffic terminal which has recently embraced a major expansion for which ADP has gone out for bid for the purchase of twelve (12) Reach Stackers. The order was awarded in April 2022 to CVS FERRARI that, once the delivery of these units will be completed, will therefore have supplied ADP with as many as twenty (20) machines in the short span of four years. The last contract also foresees the supply of one “clip-on” magnet and one “clip-on” beam that will be used to deploy the reach stackers to the handling of steel plates and bars.
