The unique CVS FERRARI Electrified Empty Container Handlers have touched wheel on the docks of the Port of Rotterdam, Europe’s busiest container port. Medrepair Rotterdam, the right bank terminal of the MSC Group owned empty container repair and storage agency, has taken delivery of a CVS FERRARI Hy-Lift model HY11.7DS capable of stacking 2 over 6 ISO containers with a capacity of 11 ton under a double handling telescopic spreader. In the meantime and close by, Waalhaven Terminals has taken delivery of the full electric twin of the above mentioned machine. Waalhaven has in fact chosen to operate a CVS FERRARI Ze-Lift model ZE11.7DS that has the same capacity and stacking ability of the machine delivered to Medrepair, except is powered by a lithium ions battery instead that by a gen set backed by a supercapacitors bank. Both trucks have already proven their incredible energy consumption efficiency that originates form their unique and patented full electric winch and cable lifting technology that regenerates and recycles huge amounts of cost free and totally clean renewable electric energy. Rotterdam today is a much more cleaner and efficent harbor. Thanks to CVS Ferrari.
