The Transport Logistic Exhibition held at the beginning of June 2025 has been the usual meeting point for the European intermodal industry value chain actors. Among those, it’s certainly METRANS, one of the most prominent rail terminals operators of the old continent, notoriously holding a prime position in the management of the rail freight interchange knots between the western “narrow gauge” system and the easter “wider gauge” one. In total METRANS operates today 20 Terminals and depots (with two more being added soon) in 9 different European countries. Similarly, CVS FERRARI, the latest jewel of the Taylor Group crown, is renowned among the intermodal operators community as a brand that makes rock solid machines, that are often the back-spine of their rail-to road links At the 2025 Munich’s Transport Logistic exhibition the top managements of METRANS and of CVS FERRARI, among which Robert Taylor, the CEO of the Taylor Group, have had a pleasant occasion to meet and strengthen their reciprocal long standing cooperation that lasts now since over 20 years and that has led to CVS FERRARI supplying METRANS with nearly 120 units over the span of more than two decades, of which about 100 units are still in operation. A massive fleet to whom, just a couple of weeks before the Munich’s show, has been added two outstanding F500.RS5-E PB reach stackers fitted with CVS FERRARI designed and built European block-stow top and bottom pick spreader.
